In case you hadn’t heard – and how you could not have, quite frankly – Bad Piggies was released today (Sept. 27). This is the new game from Rovio, the company famous for (and very rich from) Angry Birds.
As the title suggests, Bad Piggies sees you swapping sides. You’re no longer in control of the Angry Birds as they kill the pigs and claim back their eggs. Instead you’re in control of the Bad Piggies as they seek to steal the eggs in the first place.
Bad Piggies is available to download now for Mac, iOS, and Android, with versions for PC, Windows 8, and Windows Phone promised for the near future. Some versions are free, while others will set players back a few dollars.
The game isn’t as simple as Angry Birds. Instead of firing a slingshot, players are expected to build suitable vehicles for the Bad Piggies to travel in as they collect the eggs and reach the end of the level. It’s fun but will also tax your brain from time to time.
