If the original graphic novels, AMC television series, and episodic point-and-click games aren’t enough to satisfy your need for The Walking Dead, then you’ll be pleased to hear that a first-person shooter is also on the way.
Imaginatively titled The Walking Dead, the new FPS game will be based wholly on the TV series rather than the original source material. Terminal Reality is developing the game, which Activision will publish.
As well as details of the game a teaser trailer has been released. It doesn’t show much of anything, but then that’s to be expected at this early stage.
The Walking Dead FPS will be a prequel to the television show, with Daryl and Merle heading for Atlanta. Walkers will be present in abundance, with players expected to use strategy rather than run in guns a-blazin’.
The game will be released sometime in 2013 on PS3, Xbox 360, and PC.
