Whitney Houston’s daughter was met with trouble when she tried to take her rightful inheritance. In her will, Whitney left Bobbi Kristina Brown a whopping $20 million. But her executors, Cissy and Pat Houston thought it would be too much for Bobbi and decided to battle it out over the fortune.
Apparently a court has seen fit to give Bobbi Kristina the right to her own money. Pat and Cissy contested some of the will’s stipulations saying that Bobbi might not be able to handle the responsibility of so much money at one time.
Since, we’ve found that Bobbi is free and clear to take the money that her mother left her. The only thing is, it will be doled out to her in three installments. The first installment of $2 million will come when she hits the age of 21. The second installment of $4 million will be given to her when she reaches 25-years-old and the final payment will be given to her when she’s 30-years-old.
Still, it’s a win for Bobbi Kristina, as Whitney’s wishes will remain unchanged. Congratulations to her on her victory. Let’s hope she doesn’t spend it purchasing a home for her “fiance”/brother, Nick.
