We’re not ones to talk much about those in the political arena, but this picture just spoke to us. Republican Vice Presidential candidate Paul Ryan appeared at a soup kitchen in Youngstown, Ohio just long enough to get a photo op with some pots and pans. Yes, he’s actually trying to fool the public into thinking that he was there the whole time helping out.
A source on the scene said that Paul was there for a whopping 15 minutes and washed dishes that were already clean. What a douche. Trying to make people think that he was really there for longer and actually mingled with homeless folks at a soup kitchen. Ugh.
He and his wife showed up at the kitchen after the food had already been served and the people eating had already left. The kitchen’s head honcho said, “He did nothing. He just came in here to get his picture taken at the dining hall.”
Ugh. We’re sure stuff like this happens all of the time and we’re positive that it’s not just the Republicans doing it. Still, anytime we get inside information about it, we’re going to put it out there.
