Who knew that Victoria Beckham was such a cheapskate?!? Apparently Victoria doesn’t feel that it’s customary to tip a waitress at a restaurant… Cheapo!
She went to a Pizza Express restaurant recently, but failed to leave a tip for her waitress. She was eating some grub at the establishment in Essex on Monday when she paid the £115 bill and left no tip.
That’s what’s funny about celebrities going out to eat at restaurants…when they forget (or on purpose) to leave a tip, one of the employees runs to blab about it to the gossip hounds. A supervisor at the restaurant said, “Victoria came in on Monday night with six children and David’s mum. She paid £115 for dinner in cash. She’s a very good customer and comes her regularly. She loves having bosco salad – warm garlic mushrooms, baby mozzarella, avocado, roasted tomatoes, spinach, rocket, balsamic syrup, honey and mustard dressing with warm doughsticks.”
The employee went on to say, “She’s had other salads before, but never pizza – she wouldn’t eat that. She didn’t leave a tip, she didn’t leave anything. I gave her the receipt and she gave me the money exactly, £115. But it doesn’t matter. She’s a good customer and is always nice. You give her something, she always says please and thank you.”
It doesn’t matter, yet this supervisor felt the need to blather on about it? Of course a tip matters. Some waitresses don’t make diddly squat working for restaurants. TIPS = To Insure Proper Service. That is all.
