Tyra Banks Talks Vaginas

After Tyra’s on-air breast examination and bathing suit revelation, we ought to be used to her eye-rolling shenanigans by now. But this…this might just be enough to smack down a hearty “Take that, Oprah!”

Yes, evidently our favorite curve-lover, Ms. Top Model herself, will devote her entire talk show on Monday to discussing…the vagina. The Big V. The Beav. The Great Down Under. Call it what you want, Tyra calls it important enough to talk about…for an entire hour.

“I have wanted to do this show for two years,” said Banks, 33. “I know for a lot of women talking about what is going on in our bodies is extremely difficult, but it is incredibly important.”

Hm. Somehow talking Vajayjays at lunch with your bff doesn’t seem like a movement that ought to happen. But in Tyra’s world, it is. She went on to say:

“We should be able to talk to our daughters, sisters, mothers and friends about our bodies and not be embarrassed. I hope after this show women will not be ashamed about what’s up down there.”

Ambitious lady, isn’t she? Can’t you just see it now? All the ladies of the world, gathering for lunch, living up to Tyra’s dream. It’d all go down something like this:

“So, wow, you look great. And how’s your coochie doing? I’ve been dying to ask you that for ages. Oh, and can you pass the butter when you get a sec? Thanks.”

Beautiful. That’s the way a lunch with the girls should be. Thank God Tyra was good enough to tell us so.
