Even though HBO’s True Blood is nearly half-way through its fifth season, we’ve learned that the show has been renewed for a sixth season. Yay for us Truebies!
We’re happy that Sookeh and Beel will be bringing us back to Bon Temps for another season of vampires, werewolves and fairies. Despite the renewal announcement, we haven’t yet heard when the sixth season will begin shooting, when it will premiere or if Anna Paquin’s (Sookie) pregnancy in real life will have any effect on her character on the show.
Have you been watching this season of the show? On Sunday’s episode, we saw Sookie finally hooking up with Alcide Herveaux, even though she had already admitted to killing his ex-girlfriend, Debbie Pelt. Why shouldn’t she hook up with Alcide? She’s already been with Bill and Eric….so naturally, she would get with the guy who “runs hot”. The question is, will she maintain a relationship with Alcide, even after he covered for her murder of Debbie? Will he have fully forgiven her enough to want more from her?
We only ask that because of the scene from next week’s show, as depicted above? That doesn’t look like Sookie’s head….so who could it be?
