The Spears family says Dr. Phil violated their trust

When the Spears family called Dr. Phil to come and save the day while Britney was at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, they had no idea that he was going to make it such a public affair.

Now, they’re PO’ed at the talk show doctor, saying he violated their trust. So, a spokesperson for Lynne has called out Dr. Phil, for what he is, an opportunist.

Lou Taylor, spokesperson for Lynne Spears said that Dr. Phil was not invited to make this a public display. He also denies Dr. Phil’s claims that Britney’s parents were set to appear on his show. And my favorite part, Taylor calls Dr. Phil’s plans to do a show on Britney “self-serving.”

Ouch, that had to hurt! Dr. Phil, the ball is in your court. Play it up for the TV, okay?

Taylor also called McGraw’s plans to do a show on Britney “self-serving.”
