The Jonas Brothers Lied About Their Purity Rings?
After having made such a fuss over their purity rings, we’ve found out that the Jonas Brothers have lied to us. From what we’ve understood, they were wearing their purity rings as a symbol of purity, but apparently that’s not the case.
The brothers talked to British magazine Teen Now and said that the meaning behind the rings was taken out of context.
They were asked, “So are you guys really vowing to stay virgins until marriage?”
Nick replied, “No. That was something that got taken out of hand and that we wanted to keep to ourselves.”
Kevin chimed in with, “The media took things out of context.”
And finally Joe said, “Those rings are just to show that we have solid values in life.”
So they’ve either given it up already or plan to soon. Because when the news first came out about the purity rings, the story sounded like a solid “virgins until marriage” type of deal. Now it sounds like the rules are changing because the guys are. That’s fine, too, just saying. Or do you think Russell Brand got to them?

Is this real? I sure hope not. Even if that were the case, it would have been better for their fanbase and their reputation to not have said anything about it

their fanbase is not strictly due to their morals.
their fans like them because they are good boys with amazing musical talents who people feel they can easily relate to. even with that said that they MAY decide to have sex before marriage, i still rather see my child follow them than some of the other artists out there today.
its not their fault if this article IS true(which i doubt) and what they said about the rings was taken the wrong way. they aren’t lying to anyone they are just following their own path.

if the biggest issue you can write about is the purity rings of 3 popular boys then you need to stop writing because their are just more important issues in the world.
