Gene Simmons and Shannon Tweed’s daughter Sophie Tweed-Simmons auditioned on Wednesday night’s episode of The X Factor. She didn’t do bad, either!
Sophie appeared on the show, telling people that she wanted to try and make it on her own merits — without the help of her famous rocker father. She wanted to do the show on her own, despite having brought both of her famous parents along with her for the audition. Moral support? Or did she really want that name recognition?
She performed Adele’s song Make You Feel My Love and got a yes from three of the judges. L.A. Reid said no, but Demi, Britney and Simon all agreed that she had something special enough to send her to the Boot Camp stage of the competition.
