Simon Cowell picks David Cook as his American Idol winner
Simon Cowell has already endorsed a winner for American Idol this season, and it’s not David Archuleta. It’s the other David, David Cook.
Simon says that David Cook has really worked for the title of America’s Idol and he deserves to win.
Simon told Blender, “I think he’s done more to deserve it over the eleven weeks,” Cowell says. “He’s taken more risks, he’s done things with certain songs that have been more interesting. If I’m gonna base it on who has done the best performances over the live shows, David Cook deserves to win.”
I have to admit that I haven’t really been following the show this season, but I did catch a tidbit of dreadboy and David Cook singing songs. I think I paid more attention to Jason’s blue eyes than I did his singing, so I can’t comment there. From what I can tell, David Cook is the winner already. The boy can sing….and he’s not hard on the eyes, either.
