Shia LaBeouf cleared of drunk driving charge

Shia LaBeouf will not be charged with drunk driving following his July incident where he overturned his truck several times in Hollywood.

The incident left him with a shattered hand and a really beat down truck, but at least he’s not going to jail for it.

Authorities arriving at the scene suspecting the actor of DUI, but the L.A. District Attorney has declared that there isn’t enough evidence for them to bring a case against him.

Shia has already avoided any blame in the incident due to the other driver running a red light, which caused the accident.

Director Michael Bay even stood up for him, saying, “He was not drunk. He was drinking hours and hours before. That’s gonna go away.”

And go away, it has. Shia’s lucky. If that were you or me, we’d be rotting in jail right now. It must be nice to be young and privileged.
