Samantha Ronson ordered to pay Perez Hilton $86,832.00

Samantha Ronson has finally paid out almost $87,000 to celebrity blogger Perez Hilton. A court odered Sam to fork over the dough in reference to her lawsuit from last year against him. She sued him for libel after he claimed that the cocaine found in Lindsay’s car was actually hers. The court disagreed with Samantha and ordered her to pay his court costs, which is what she did Friday, to avoid having to go back to court to discuss how she was going to pay.

Perez does have a way of opening his big mouth against celebrities, but on the other hand, they are in the public eye, and some would say they are fair game. I’d like to say that this was a first amendment victory for all bloggers, but I really don’t like Perez, so I won’t.
