Sally Struthers is the latest celebrity to get busted for drunk driving. And here we were thinking that she had fallen off of the planet! (Or was stuffing all of those poor emaciated children into her gigantic piehole…)
Sally was busted in Maine and taken into custody for driving while intoxicated. She was arrested on Route 1 in Ogunquit on Wednesday at around 12:30AM. She was charged with OUI, which means that her car was stationary and she was drunk. WTF? Who knew that was even a charge? Ridiculous?
She is a first time offender, so she was able to post the meager bail of only $160. At this time she is not facing any jail time and could just be slapped with a fine. She is due back in court to answer to the charge on December 14, 2012. As a result of her OUI charge, she could get up to a $500 fine along with having her license suspended for 90 days.
Sally’s rep is denying the reports that she was operating under the influence, but that doesn’t mean that it’s not true, right? The cops usually give people a breathalyzer test before arrests are made, so we’re going to take their word on this one.
