Sacha Baron Cohen writes off Ali G & Borat

Sacha Baron Cohen has written off characters, Ali G and Borat.

“When I was being Ali G and Borat I was in character sometimes 14 hours a day and I came to love them, so admitting I am never going to play them again is quite a sad thing,” he said in London’s The Daily Telegraph Friday.

You’d have to imagine how hard that must be. There’s a thin line between what’s in character and what’s not if you’re doing it for 14 hours a day. Maybe he just doesn’t want to get typecast as Borat or Ali G for the rest of his career. That would make it harder for him to get another acting job.
