Ryan Phillippe considered Army life before acting
Ryan Phillippe considered a military career before becoming a movie star.
He was set to join the Army and fight for his country in the Middle East before becoming an actor. He admits accompanying his friend Jason to the recruitment office and almost signed up. His friend Jason ended up signing up and going over there.
Ryan ended up taking the t-shirt and going to New York to become an actor.
And can you blame him? This guy is hot.
He says, “I didn’t have the best grades and we didn’t have a lot of money, so it (the military) was one of the options.”
