Russell Crowe and his wife Danielle Spencer have apparently gone their separate ways. According to reports, the former couple have separated with plans to divorce.
They were married for nine years and have two sons together, but have just announced their split. Russell came back to the States to do some work, while leaving his actress wife back in Sydney, Australia to tend to their children. He is said to be so devastated by the split and is dealing with it by completely throwing himself into work.
Danielle sparked rumors of a rift in their marriage after she was spotted with her Dancing With The Stars partner Damian Whitewood back in June. Perhaps there’s more to this story than we know, considering that they’ve just purchased a $10 million home earlier in the year. But, Russell has been keeping busy with work here in the U.S., so it’s not shocking that they’ve split up. What do you think?
