
Robin Gibb, co-founder of the group the Bee Gees, has passed away on Sunday after battling cancer. He was only 62-years-old.
He was diagnosed with colon and liver cancer two years ago and had been hospitalized several times over the past two years. Most recently, he was hospitalized an in a coma and was fighting for his life.
His spokesperson issued a statement saying, “The family of Robin Gibb, of the Bee Gees, announce with great sadness that Robin has passed away today following his long battle with cancer and intestinal surgery. The family have asked that their privacy is respected at this very difficult time.”
RIP Robin Gibb, your contribution to the world of music will always be remembered. So sad.
