Robert Pattinson was briefly linked to the lead role of Christian Grey in the movie adaptation of E.L. James’ book Fifty Shades Of Grey and now he’s talking about the saucy books.
Apparently the entire planet is being captivated by these poorly written Twilight fan-fiction books. I can see why, to a certain extent. The sexy parts are hot and Christian is hot and it’s really hard to believe that he’s based on anything related to Rob.
During his appearance at Comic-Con, he talked about the books. When he was asked what he would do if he had the book in front of him right now, Rob said, “I would just sit there and lick the pages.”
Then, he proceeded to ask, “What are we live on?” Afterward, Kristen was asked about whether or not she reads the book in a book club with Rob and Taylor Lautner. To that, she said, “That would be disgusting.”
The characters in Fifty Shades are based on Edward and Bella, but we would be hard-pressed to consider them as a perfect fit for either role. Ian Somerhalder would be perfect for Christian and some unknown should take the role of Ana. What do you think?
