Robert Pattinson has always been the type of guy that doesn’t talk publicly about his personal life, so we didn’t think that was going to change any time soon. Rob appeared on Good Morning America earlier today where he was grilled a bit by George Stephanopolous. Did people actually think he was going to pour out his soul to a news anchor on live television?!?
George pressed Rob on the topic of his public breakup with Kristen, but Rob wasn’t biting. Rob refused to take the bait, even though George tried to bribe him with Cinnamon Toast Crunch.
Rob said, “I’ve never been interested in selling my personal life. You go on TV to promote movies. That’s the only way to do it.”
Rob was making the appearance on the show to promote his new movie Cosmpopolis and there were tons of screaming fans outside. George asked, “Is there any way to get used to this?”
Rob replied, “If you start getting used to this, it means you’re going crazy. It’s nice. It’s like being on the craziest theme park ride you’ve been on. It’s totally exciting, but eventually you need a break.”
