Robert Downey Jr. returned his book advance

Robert Downey, Jr. had planned on writing a book of his memoirs, probably to make a little bit of cash on his 80’s presence.

Since the success of Iron Man, Robert is on the A-list again and doesn’t need the book money so much anymore. And I was looking forward to that, too. The actor has postponed the plans for a tell-all and has returned the book advance.

See, I knew that being funny and good looking would work out for him.

His memoirs were set to be a book filled with information on his life, career, and his drug problems. The publishers at HarperCollins have received word that the book is not going to be written.

The book was supposed to hit shelves later on this year. Maybe he will write it, he’s just doing all of the good chapters now.
