Rihanna has been released from the hospital last night after suffering an “alleged” attack at the hands of her boyfriend, R&B singer, Chris Brown.
Police officers on the scene said that she suffered trauma to her face and body, including contusions, swelling, bruising, bite marks (on her arms and fingers), and a bloody nose. A witness hearing her screaming was said to have called 911. Thank God for that.
When Rihanna was released from Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, she left using the back door to avoid photographers. I don’t blame her for that one, who’d want the paparazzi snapping pictures of your face after your boyfriend beat the crap out of you?
Rihanna has also canceled her sold-out concert in Malaysia, slated for Friday.
Her publicist will only say that she’s well and has thanked her fans for their concern. Let’s hope she heals from all of this soon.
