Rumors were swirling over the weekend that Jake Gyllenhaal and Reese Witherspoon had broken up…but not so, say their reps.

Reportedly, a source close to Reese confirmed the news, but People magazine has already gotten the denial from each of their reps.

“It is not true,” the reps confirmed, adding, “They are still together.”

I hope that they are still a couple, they are so cute and grounded together. And private.

It would be a shame if they broke up now, with the holidays around us. Unless, of course, he really is using her as his beard. Then it would make perfect sense. Maybe it was just a slow news day.
