Country singer Randy Travis was busted for DUI, naked. It doesn’t really get any better than this, folks. Back in February was his first arrest for being drunk after getting overly excited about the Super Bowl. On Wednesday, Randy decided to try his luck with the local police once more. He went into a store in North Texas while drunk and naked in order to purchase a pack of cigarettes. Why on Earth he would think it’s okay to walk into a store naked and obliterated is beyond us, but we’re guessing he wasn’t too welcomed by the clerk.
The owner of the store called the cops and Randy was later arrested following a crash of his 1998 Pontiac Trans Am. The clerk revealed that when Randy was asked how he intended to pay for his cigarettes, he became aggravated and left.
After leaving and getting behind the wheel of his car, police received another call to 911 claiming that a naked man was lying in the street. At the scene, the country singer refused a breathalyzer and blood samples. He also threatened to kill the officers, which was added as a charge of retaliation. If convicted, he could face ten years in prison and a fine of up to $10,000.
