Pete Wentz is a true gentleman. He asked for Ashlee Simpson’s father Joe’s permission before he proposed to Ashlee.
How cute is that, right?
The couple had been dating for two years prior to his proposal. I think they make a really cute couple.
Joe says, “Pete did ask me. I told him that I would be honored to have him as a part of my family.”
And Jessica Simpson is happy for them, to boot!
She says, “My sister is overflowing with joy. Pete is an incredible soul. They naturally bring out the best in each other. I couldn’t be happier.”
