Pete Wentz & Ashlee Simpson to have a Gremlins themed wedding?

So it’s a “come as you are” type of affair? Okay, I couldn’t resist that one. These things sometimes just write themselves.

Pete Wentz recently joked that him and fiance Ashlee Simpson are going to have a Gremlin themed wedding because the movie is one of his all-time favorites:

“I think we’re going to have our theme based around Gremlins 2! We could have it take place in a mall and there could be little green naked monsters running about! We could even have Gizmo as a guest!” he told the publication.

It has also been reported that their nuptials could be taking place sooner than expected with an anticipated wedding date as early as this Friday.

They better postpone it to create some buzz for whenever Ashlee can put out an album that doesn’t actually suck. Oh wait, nevermind, we’d be waiting forever.
