Pete Doherty denies overdosing at a recent gig

Everyone can rest easy now, Pete Doherty is not dead and he says that he didn’t overdose at a recent gig in Austria, either.
He says that the reports that he OD’d are not true because he struggled to find any drugs while he was in the country.
It was rumored that the singer was revived by paramedics and brought back from death before a gig in Graz, Austria, last week. But it wasn’t for lack of trying to find drugs, either. He says that he couldn’t locate any illegal substances at all.
He says, “I know that was absolute rubbish. I was in Austria (but), I mean, between me and you…it would’ve been lovely to have enough stuff but there was nothing about. To be honest it was a really clean week - and it was complete rubbish.”
Like he could actually tell a reporter “between me and you” and have it kept between the two of them? Really? You know this hit the news right after the reporter hit the stop button on his recorder.
Someone needs to tell Pete to stop trying to kill himself, though. It’s a shame that he can actually say that he didn’t overdose because he couldn’t find any drugs in the country. Tsk, tsk.
