Penny Marshall is sick of all of the BS rumors that she is dying!
In a new interview with Entertainment Tonight, she criticized the tabloids for putting up headlines that state that she is on the verge of death’s door. She is sick and tired of reading stories on the covers of magazines like The Globe, which state that she’s dying from cancer.
In her interview, she said, “The public is stupid…The rags write about it and they get it wrong. They have me dying every three months. I’m fine. I’ve dodged a big bullet, but I’m clean as a whistle.”
She has suffered from liver and lung cancer along with a brain tumor, but she says that she has conquered her health problems. She also revealed that the false stories about her failing health have prevented her from getting work.
She added, “Because certain rags write, ‘She’s dying, pray for her…’ I can’t get work. I’m a little pissed.”
