Paula Abdul, Steve Jones and Nicole Scherzinger: You’re Fired!
Well it looks like Simon Cowell is looking for a spot on “The Apprentice”! He laid the smack down when he fired Paula Abdul, Steve Jones and Nicole Scherzinger. WOW! Who even saw that coming? We knew over the last few months that Steve Jones would most likey not be making it back for the second season, but when Cowell passed the judgement on old pal Paula Abdul and Nicole Scherzinger he shocked us all.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Cowell, who created The X Factor, recently assembled the show’s creative team for a top secret meeting in the UK — home of the original, British version of the show.
THR says the reason for the meeting was to take a hard look at the show’s first season to detail “what went wrong and what was done right on season one.”
We all knew that Simon was a rather straight up guy and tells it like it is but I think he showed his real side of putting the job first! Which according to ratings the show just didn’t bring them in. But who knew that Simon would go to these drastic measures. According to other news a rumor has gone about that Nicole did not get fired but she left on her own accord. Now whether this is true not is still up in the air until we receive confirmation. We wish all the souls that have been canned good luck in the future!
