Nick Peterson shocked viewers on the night of the Bachelor Pad season finale. He was thrown into a partnership with Rachel Truehart and they both previously discussed whether or not they should keep or share the $250,000. In the end, while she opted to share the pot with him, he decided to keep the entire thing for himself. It shocked a lot of people watching, who thought that it was wrong to keep the whole pot of cash to himself.
Now, he’s opening up about the controversial decision. As far as how he felt keeping all of the loot, he said, “The thought of being the first and making history is pretty awesome! I didn’t plan it that way though as my original plan was to share until I saw the episodes of her saying she didn’t want to be my partner and all that.”
If you thought he felt bad for not sharing the dough, think again. He said, “Not really…if I said I did then I’d be going against what I said. I saw the things she said about me behind my back and I believe that justified me keeping the money.”
As far as how people are thinking of him now, he said, “Haha where there’s those who think it was the greatest ending ever, and those that think I’m the worst human alive. Doesn’t bothere me if they want to hate, but I appreciate all the supporters!”
