Maybe Nadya Suleman just needed a long break from playing mom to her fourteen children? It’s gotta be tough making all of those bad decisions and getting rewarded at every turn, right?
Yesterday, we’ve learned that Nadya checked herself into rehab for treatment of an addiction to Xanax. She entered the Chapman House Treatment Center last week for a 30 day stay because of “anxiety, exhaustion and stress.”
Her rep said, “Ms. Suleman has been taking Xanax that was prescribed by her doctor to deal with her anxiety but she felt she needed a treatment program to help with her recovery. She will be in treatment for 28 days or more if needed. Although the rehab offered to treat her at no charge, Ms. Suleman opted to pay for the program.”
As far as her brood of children are concerned, they have been left in the care of nannies and friends who have split up their care. In fact, they’ve said that it’s much easier to take care of the kids without her around barking orders at them.
