Mischa Barton Claims 5150 Hold Could Happen To Anyone

Mischa Barton

I’m sure you would believe that a 5150 hold could happen to anyone. Just look at Britney Spears, Mischa Barton, and David Hasselhoff. Imagine that, being in a hospital and then ending up in a 72 hour psychiatric hold. I’ve so had that happen to me before, haven’t you?!??

She was carted off to the hospital earlier this year, against her will, after an operation to remove her wisdom teeth went badly.

She said, “It’s something that could happen to anyone - going to the hospital and having a bad experience and then being on a 5150 - it happens to more people than you’d know. It’s a common thing. I didn’t know that when I went to the hospital, if they saw you were feeling bad they could just hold you like that, but it’s an American thing, I suppose. If you say that you’re depressed, they hold you for your own good. I was shocked it went so far.”

How funny is it that she thinks it’s an American thing? Umm, no, moron, it’s a crazy person thing. They obviously thought you were a danger to yourself or others. Look it up, I’ll wait.

  • I’m not sure why you feel the need to be so cruel to somebody who has experienced a traumatic emotional experience requiring a 5150 hold. Jealousy, maybe…? Regardless, grow up.
