Michael Jackson’s Funeral Tickets Free & Will Be Randomly Drawn

Michael Jackson

AEG and the city of Los Angeles held a press conference earlier today to discuss the upcoming memorial for Michael Jackson.

They advised that 11,000 tickets will be given away for the Staples Center, along with 6,500 for the Nokia Center. Tickets are free and ticket winners will be given randomly to fans who enter in their information at StaplesCenter.com.

There will be no funeral procession for the late King of Pop. They haven’t released any details yet as to whether or not the media will be allowed in to cover the event. But they did say that it would be televised for those unable to secure a ticket for themselves.

Inside of the Staples Center, there will be three large screens displaying what’s going on.

The ceremony will take place between 10am and 2pm PST on Tuesday, July 7th.

We’ve also just learned that Michael is going to be buried twice. Once in a private funeral ceremony on Sunday, in a temporary resting spot in a cemetery. After the family gets the necessary permits, they will have his body exumed and re-buried at Neverland.

Just like his idol, Elvis.
