Madonna & Guy Ritchie have been granted a preliminary divorce

Madonna and Guy Ritchie were granted a preliminary divorce decree in London today, as expected.

Madonna’s divorce petition was based on Guy’s “unreasonable behavior”, according to sources. She’s reportedly livid that the media is making it look like he didn’t want any of her money, yet is getting millions. Neither party was present for the court hearing, yet their assets and custody was decided by the judge.

Guy is getting to keep their property in Wiltshire, as well as their bar, The Punchbowl, and is getting shared custody of the couple’s two children.

Guy was quoted as telling a friend, “It was never about money - never about her bloody art collection. I just wanted to settle it and move on. I didn’t raise any objections at any stage until she insisted the children lived permanently in New York.”

The divorce is set to become final in six weeks and one day.

He should have a divorce party and burn everything that reminds him of her. Good for Guy for getting away from her and her controlling ways.
