Lindsay Lohan lost her grandfather & Michael is using it for press

Lindsay’s paternal grandfather Richard Lohan, passed away Thursday after a battle with colon cancer. Michael Lohan said that his father’s poor health was the reason that he didn’t make an even bigger deal over his engagement to girlfriend Erin Muller.

But that didn’t stop him from using his father’s death to take another swipe at his ex-wife Dina.

He issued a statement to OK magazine saying, “My father just, literally, died in my arms. I notified all my kids and my lawyer notified Dina’s attorney. Let’s see if she has the decency and respect to bring my kids to the wake and funeral. THIS will show her true colors! Thus, not even a call. But that’s par for the course with Dina! She didn’t even send a card or visit when he was sick.”

Dina hasn’t yet responded to Michael’s rant, but my guess is that she won’t do it in public. What kind of douchebag uses his father’s death to get attention like that? I mean, he issued a statement to a tabloid magazine. How can he move on with his fiance when he’s still angry at his ex-wife? If I were his daughter, I’d be embarrassed.
