It’s official! Lindsay Lohan is still a criminal! I know, thank you Captain Obvious, right???
She was formally charged with felony grand theft earlier today for allegedly stealing a necklace from Venice shop Kamofie & Company. There was surveillance video that shows Lindsay taking the necklace without paying for it. She also didn’t sign any documents to have the jewelry on loan from the store, either.
The necklace is worth $2,500 and was taken on January 22nd. If convicted of this crime, Lindsay could face up to one year in state prison. I wonder if she’s going to try and buy her way out of this one.
She’s got more than enough problems at the moment, so she definitely does not need this drama in her life.
She has pleaded not guilty, because she truly believes she did nothing wrong. Her bail was set at $20,000.
