Lindsay Lohan has gotten herself arrested in New York City earlier this morning after reportedly hitting/tapping a pedestrian in her Porsche Cayenne. She parked her car near the Dream Hotel in downtown NYC when she was said to have hit the knee of a guy walking down the street.
One of her passengers allegedly got out of the car and checked it for damage right before they made their way inside the hotel. Someone called the cops while Lindsay was inside and when she went to leave in the wee hours of the morning, she was arrested.
She was booked into custody for leaving the scene of an accident, which is a misdemeanor. She was not required to pay any bail before being turned loose back into society. She wasn’t drinking, either, so that may work in her favor.
Still, she is on probation for her necklace theft case, so there’s that. The judge in that case might just revoke her probation if they find that she broke the law.
Lindsay, of course, is saying that she had no clue that she hit anybody and was completely unaware until she was popped by the cops. She is also telling friends that no one ever got out of her car to check for damages.
