Avril Lavigne was having a gay old time at Prive on New Years Eve where she was set to countdown to midnight. That was, until rapper Lil’ John grabbed his own mic and stole her thunder. Lil’ John was there DJing the party and he stole the show from the pop princess.
She was said to have been visibly upset by Lil’ John and crying that she wanted to do the countdown. Was she getting paid by the number? I’d be mad, too.
She only calmed down after the waiters brought her some Dom Perignon. Champagne cures everything.
