Kristin Davis says she’s nothing like Charlotte from Sex & the City

Kristin Davis says she’s nothing like her Sex & the City counterpart, Charlotte.

Kristin isn’t as marriage-minded like her character and even though she’s holding out for Mr. Right, it doesn’t mean that she’s in a hurry to get hithed.

She says this of her upbringing:

“There was a lot of pressure that you marry well and that you marry relatively young,” she says of her Southern upbringing. “If you didn’t you were kind of left out. It made me angry because why was that the be all and end all for a young woman? I think that women should be free to do whatever they want to do. I just haven’t found the right person.”

So you know it has to be hard not to be like Charlotte, even though she was brought up with those values.
