I have to admit, when I first heard the tabloid reports that Kristen Stewart cheated on Robert Pattinson, I thought the magazines were just running out of stories to make up to sell copies of their rags. But, as it turns out, this one is true. Who knew?!? I guess a broken clock is right twice a day, no?
These are the same tabloids that try to sell us on Rob and Kristen getting married and shacking up together every other week, so you can understand why anyone would be dubious about their claims.
In a shocking move, Kristen has decided to publicly apologize for the cheating scandal. She cheated with her Snow White And The Huntsman director Rupert Sanders — who is married!
In her statement, Kristen said, “I’m deeply sorry for the hurt and embarrassment I’ve caused to those close to me and everyone this has affected. This momentary indiscretion has jeopardized the most important thing in my life, the person I love and respect the most, Rob. I love him, I love him, I’m so sorry.”
Nifty little PR stunt if you ask us. A lot of fans didn’t believe that they were ever dating in the first place, so we’re skeptical that this isn’t just an out for them to call time on their movie promoting romance. What do you think?
