Kim Kardashian’s interview with Oprah Winfrey is trickling out in small pieces, but with this little tidbit, we get a bit of a shock: Kris Jenner actually made a sensible decision regarding her daughter! What?!?
Before all the fanfare and sex tape nonsense surrounding Kim, she was a 14-year-old girl looking to hook up with her boyfriend. So, she discussed the idea with her mother and Kris put her on birth control.
She said to Oprah, “When I did want to have sex the first time I was almost 15″, adding that her mother was open to the idea and even took her to get on birth control. She went on to say, “I was like, ‘I think I’m going to, or I want to’, and she was like, ‘Okay, so this is what we’re gonna do, we’re gonna put you on birth control’, and she was like, really open and honest with me.”
Oprah’s response? “Wow.” We’re guessing that she was as shocked as we were to learn that Kris knows how to parent properly.
