Kim Kardashian rose to instant fame after releasing her own sex tape with Ray J. Seriously, this girl was a celebrity closet organizer and hanger-on for Paris Hilton before she was anybody. She got peed on in a video and the rest is history. She has tried to claim that the video was released without her permission, but we know better. Vivid Entertainment would not release the video without the involved parties’ consent, plain and simple.
So, we were surprised to hear that Kim actually discussed the tape in her interview with Oprah Winfrey. Oprah asked, “Would you be where you are had there not been a sex tape?”
Kim responded, “You know, I think that’s how I was definitely introduced to the world. It was a negative way, so I felt like I really had to work ten times harder to get people to see the real me.”
I think people had the chance to see the real her and it’s nothing but famewhoring for the almighty dollar. But, hey, at least she knows her roots in stardom and it has nothing to do with talent.
