Kelly Preston Releases a Statement About the Death of her son, Jett Travolta

On her official website, Kelly Preston gave her heartfelt thanks for the outpouring of support from all of their fans, for the loss of the couple’s son, Jett.

She said in a statement on the site:

“We would like to extend our deepest and most heartfelt thanks to everyone who has sent their love and condolences. Jett was the most wonderful son that two parents could ever ask for and lit up the lives of everyone he encountered. We are heartbroken that our time with him was so brief. We will cherish the time we had with him for the rest of our lives. We have received many messages of condolence from around the world and we want to thank everyone for their prayers and support. It has meant so much to us. It is a beautiful reminder of the inherent goodness in the human spirit that gives us hope for a brighter future.”

It was reported by Bahamian EMT Chief Marcus Garvey that he responded to the 911 call to find Jett in the hallway of the residence. They already moved him out of the bathroom so that the EMT could administer CPR.

Of the ambulance ride, Garvey said, He [John] was holding his hand, saying, ‘Come on baby, come on Jett.’ They were more distraught, you know, getting him there, ‘How far is the hospital? How far?, how long is it now?’ And I said, “We’ll be there in about five to seven minutes.”

May he rest in peace. Hopefully they will be able to move on from this tragedy. And here’s praying that the lack of medications for whatever Jett was suffering from, didn’t take part in his death.
