Now that Katy Perry’s marriage to Russell Brand is completely done and over with, she can focus on finding someone new. Whether or not she takes time out of her touring schedule to find someone else is debatable, considering that she and Russell split because of so much time apart from one another. Still, there might be hope once her star stops shining so brightly.
In the new issue of Elle magazine, Katy talks about getting remarried, being a role model and her career. With regard to remarrying, Katy said, “I’m a woman who likes to be courted, strongly. Never say never, I guess you’d say. I’ll let love take the lead on that.”
On the topic of her career, she said, “I love what I do, and when I don’t love what I do, I’ll make a change….I can’t be the candy queen forever.”
When asked about being a role model, she added, “I have no regrets…I’m not going to be everything to everyone. I can’t tell a person when it’s time for them to have sex. Or if they should have a cigarette…But I try to live my life with a lot of integrity, and, hopefully, that sends a message.”
