Following her divorce from Russell Brand, pop singer Katy Perry began dating Florence + The Machine guitarist Robert Ackroyd. The duo began dating in April, after going public with their relationship at Coachella. At the music festival, they were said to be all over each other. She was even said to be referring to him as her “boyfriend.”
Now, we’ve learned that they have decided to go their separate ways. A source said, “It wasn’t that serious. It’s not a nasty thing and they are still talking, but Katy told him to do his thing and they’ll talk soon.”
It doesn’t sound like it really could be “that serious”…they couldn’t have been dating for that long. Perhaps he was just a booty call for the singer? They looked like they were hooking up from the pictures from their time at Coachella.
