Katie Holmes filed for divorce from Tom Cruise, but according to her prenuptial agreement with the actor, she might not be getting much from Tom. Katie is her own person and has her own money supply, so we’re sure she’s not really sweating it.
Reportedly, Katie isn’t really getting a whole lot of cash from her marriage to Tom because their prenup cuts her out of a good portion of his money. Spies close to Katie insist that that’s just fine by her.
The prenuptial agreement is said to be long and made in favor of Tom’s side of the deal. Even though there are reports that she is walking away with $15 million, we’ve heard that’s not the case. TMZ reports that the actress will leave the marriage with what she came in with – and not much more.
Katie isn’t stupid, though, as she will be asking the court for child support for Suri. As we already know, Suri has expensive tastes in her wardrobe, electronics and everything else. So, we’re kind of curious about how much she’s going to get per month to take care of their daughter.
A source close to Katie says, “She’s not about the money. She’s not that girl. She loves to work. Money is not that important to her. She makes plenty on her own.”
We’re glad that Katie finally got rid of that creton. Can you imagine that as a little girl she dreamed of marrying Tom Cruise? Now, she’s probably crossing that off of her bucket list.
