Katie Holmes is really hitting Tom Cruise where it hurts. While he’s got his head so far up Scientology’s butt, she has filed for divorce and has enrolled their daughter Suri in a Catholic school. Tom must be crapping a brick right now.
Tom is stuck between a rock and a hard place with not being able to declare Katie as a “suppressive person” within his cult religion. If he did that, he would have to completely disconnect from Katie and his daughter Suri completely. We already know that celebrities are treated differently within the religion, so Tom can get away with keeping ties to his daughter intact.
Katie has enrolled Suri in the Covent of the Sacred Heart School in New York, which just happens to be a Catholic school. Katie was a Roman Catholic before marrying Tom and naturally, she has reverted back to her own religion now that she’s divorcing Tom.
Suri has been homeschooled up until this point, but will be in the private school as of September 6th. Tuition is said to run $38,000 per year and the curriculum is very strict.
If you’ve previously heard of the school, it’s because it was Paris Hilton and Lady Gaga’s school. Katie enrolled Suri in this school because she reportedly believed that Tom wanted her to attend one of his Scientology schools.
Does this send a message that Katie is no longer a fan of the controversial religion?
