Kate Moss immortalized with an $18 million gold statue

Kate Moss has been immortalized by British artist Marc Quinn with a pure gold statue in her honor.

Quinn named the statue Siren and it has an estimated worth of more than $18 million. The statue probably weighs more than she does at 110 pounds and it depicts her in a yoga position, which makes the sculpture less than three feet tall.

He says that he chose Kate because she was the closes model to human perfection that he could find. He says, “I thought the next thing to do would be to make a sculpture of the person who is the ideal beauty of the moment. But even Kate Moss doesn’t live up to the image.”
