Over the weekend, Justin Bieber and his girlfriend Selena Gomez were trying to leave The Commons in Calabasas, California when they got blocked by a photographer. The snapper said that there was a scuffle between the two. He was urged by a lawyer at the scene to call 911 for an ambulance and to file a police report against the singer so that he could cash in.
Since, investigators have been looking to interview Justin, Selena and any eyewitnesses to the incident. Now, we’ve learned that the case is being referred to the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s office for possible criminal prosecution.
The snapper was taken to the hospital via ambulance and later filed a police report accusing Justin of assault. Justin has yet to answer to the investigation, as he is over in Norway causing a state of emergency.
If Justin is charged and convicted, he could face six months in jail. But still, can you imagine the photographer having to admit that he got beat down by Justin Bieber?!?
