Jordin Sparks has been forced to cancel a series of concerts this past weekend after it was found that she’s suffering from an acute vocal chord hemorrhage.
It’s so serious, that doctors are calling it “career threatening”. If left untreated, it can lead to permanent vocal damage, so the American Idol winner was ordered to rest.
She was set to open in Hampton, Virginia for Alicia Keys, Saturday, but the gigs were yanked at the last minute.
